Just a quick line to say how impressed we were with the Rembrandt 2nd floor Apartment in Keswick. Apart from it's ideal location just off the town center, it was clean, comfortable, very spacious, extremely well-equipped with very pleasant views. If we get the opportunity again we'll be back.

BARTON LODGE, Pooley Bridge Holiday Park, Ullswater
We have just returned from Ullswater, Barton Lodge, Pooley Bridge and want to say thank you for a lovely chalet. Barton Lodge was very clean, spacious yet cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The booking of accommodation was straight forward. We were expecting a quieter location - not in the middle of a camp site though! - but it was quiet and felt secluded when in the chalet. The area is beautiful. I would recommend your company and accommodation.

KNOTT VIEW BARN, Farleton, Kirkby Lonsdale
My family and I, 7 adults and 4 children stayed at Knott's View in the summer and we were bowled over by how well-equipped, modern, quiet and secluded, yet accessible to the Lake District, it was. The property was large enough for everyone, with 2 dining areas and a large lounge, children's room, which was ideal and where they played for hours, as well as the well-equipped children's furniture in the garden. It even had a games room in the basement which the boys loved. The downstairs bedroom had an unexpected visitor at the bedroom window every morning, the horse from next door.
The owners, on the farm next door, were very friendly and helpful and the lovely welcome basket on arrival was very generous and welcomed. It was handy having a utility room and entrance where we could come in with wet boots.
I would recommend this property to any large party, it has a wow factor.
STATION COTTAGE, Grange Over Sands
I would like to thank you, on behalf of my family and myself, for a perfect holiday cottage, the cottage was warm and comfortable with everything included for a perfect holiday. A well fitted kitchen and a large bathroom. The bedrooms very pretty, and the beds comfortable, We loved the shutters on the windows, everything was clean and well decorated, all sorts of different things to catch your eye and plenty of unusual books to read on cool evenings and a small pretty court yard to sit with a coffee and paper in the morning. Paper and milk sold next door. Trains were not a nuisance and we hardly noticed them and it was fun to catch a train to the nearby villages from outside your front door. The cottage was also well place for touring around the lakes and mountains. I must not forget to mention that a promenade starts right outside and a pretty park with pond and ducks next door also small public garden opposite with bench. A short walk along the prom brings you to a very friendly pub The Commodore, real ale, lovely meals and friendly staff. We could not fault it. We hope to come again next year and would recommend Station Cottage for a perfect lake land holiday , Thank you again Lorna Roy John and Rosalie.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, the Christmas tree was a delightful and unexpected touch. Great cottage and on regular bus route to city centre, great for enjoying the peace and quiet but loved the fact we had lots to do only minutes away.

This is our 4th time here and it just keeps getting better. The addition of the pond is fantastic, where else would you want to have a glass of wine.
BECKSIDE BUNGALOW, Pooley Bridge Holiday Park, Ullswater
What a great holiday, cant believe the sun always shines in Pooley Brige, there was six of us plus a baby, the accommodation was very spacious and more than fulfilled our needs. Best bit is we were within staggering distance of the restaurant and bar.
BAKERS REST, Grasmere
Great central cottage, cant wait to come back next year, we travel from opposite ends of the country so the fact we can all meet here is fantastic. See you in 2010
